“LAS POSADAS” HOLIDAY CELEBRATION in San Jose by the “Mamas Unidas” and Catholic Charities of Santa Clara County, tonight 1st December.

The pilgrimage and children’s choir was led from Sacred Heart Nativity School of San Jose to the Washington United Youth Center on S. 1st Street for “Las Posadas”.

“Posada de la Cuminida” is a “novenario’ or nine days of religious observance to celebrate the holiday season in Spanish or Hispanic cultures worldwide. It’s typically observed from the 16th to Christmas Eve on the 24th and refers to the story of the nativity of Jesus Christ.
