OLD “HILLVIEW SHELL” STATION AT LINCOLN & CURTNER AVENUES MOVES SLOWLY AT REDEVELOPMENT

THE GAS STATION AT THE CORNER OF CURTNER & LINCOLN AVENUE, FORMERLY KNOWN AS HILLVIEW SHELL, HAS SLOWLY BEEN MAKING IMPROVEMENTS OVER THE LAST SEVERAL MONTHS.

Even since early summer, around May 2014, the improvements have been progressing more slowly as compared to other projects in the area; as for example, the opposite end of the Lincoln Avenue from Minnesota Avenue to Willow Street.

At Willow Street, the Valero gas station has recently been fenced-in and closed as of last month; but the Shell at Curtner Avenue has been a long time coming.  For years, this property has remained dormant; but, even now as development appears underway, its dragging on and on.
